Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) marked the 50th anniversary of its founding with a ceremony to honour those who contributed to its development. Recognition was given to the role played by former Prime Minister Hon. Edward Seaga, and Audley Shaw, Minister of Industry, Commerce, Agriculture and Fisheries, along with chairpersons, founding members, dealers and staff. The awards ceremony at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in St. Andrew on June 29, was the culmination of a year of activities by the Exchange, which has been twice recognised as the top performer globally, over the past five years.
